Over the last few weeks there has been some exciting movement down at The Gaslight District. We are happy to report that the electrical and mechanical trades are now on site sleeving the foundation walls that are nearing completion. Mechanical has begun underground plumbing for Building G (Phase 1). Our hydro vault has been delivered and temporary power is currently being coordinated which will assist in keeping workflow running smoothly and on schedule. Service work is also stretching into our European-inspired courtyard this week.
As all the foundation and service work continues to progress, we look forward to the delivery of the tower crane anchors at the end of June and the Building G (Phase 1) concrete slab pour at the end of July.

We aren’t the only ones enthusiastic about The Gaslight District. Matthew Hague of The National Post wrote this full-page article praising our $100M+ development and renewal of Downtown Galt.
To add to the excitement, it is safe to say that our Hardwater Drive-Thru was a huge success! With over 1500 free 6-packs handed out, we have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback regarding the delicious taste and unique branding. Although the traffic “pandemonium”, as CBC labelled it, led to a minor shut down, we were both surprised and grateful to see everyone make their way back in support of the launch.
The residents of Cambridge have proven their dedication to the community and supporting local businesses. With this, we are passionate about keeping the events and momentum alive. We are currently working with Foundry Brewery to create a socially-distanced outdoor patio to provide our community with a safe option to gather with friends and enjoy a cold beverage!
